TPU is an elastomeric TPE type with microphase separation of hard segment (diisocyanate + chain extender) and soft segment (polyol). This morphology provides high wear resistance, low-temperature elasticity, good oil resistance, and high resilience. It is preferred in shoe soles, cable sheaths, hoses, and technical elastomer components.
